Moritz Heffes & Associates has grown to become one of Melbourne’s most trusted accounting and business services firm. The vast majority of our clients come to us through word-of-mouth recommendations, and remain with us for many years.
Our firm was established in 2003 by Edgar Moritz, and initially provided traditional accounting and taxation services.
Over the years, we have added more specialists to our team to respond to the increasing financial complexity of running a business. Today, we offer a wide range of accounting, taxation and business advisory.

In June 2023 Edgar chose to step down as the principal accountant of Moritz Heffes while he transitions to his retirement. To maintain the trust and quality of service previously provided Edgar appointed Melinda Lynch, his right hand, to manage the firm. To date, Melinda continues to service Moritz Heffes’ valued clients, many of whom have been with the firm for 20+ years.
